Rabin & Company, PLLC was founded by David E. Rabin, an accomplished attorney—with over 25 years of combined AM Law 100 equity partnership and General Counsel experience—and commercial executive (Fortune 150 Chief Commercial Officer) who understands that senior business leaders seek pragmatic and expert advice from their trusted advisors—and believes it can be provided on a highly cost-effective basis. He is adept at managing risk with practical and creative solutions and negotiating transactions through a business-focused lens.
Rabin's legal and business experience spans multiple industries and institutions including both public and private companies. After graduating from Harvard Law School, David spent over two decades in Big Law including positions as an associate at Weil Gotshal and Willkie Farr, and as an equity partner of Paul Hastings and K&L Gates. Throughout that period, his practice focused primarily on commercial real estate and corporate matters, representing a variety of institutions and investors in an array of commercial mortgage, CMBS, REIT, investments, leasing, M&A and general corporate matters in billions of dollars of transactions.
After leaving private practice, he spent over 10 years with CBRE in multiple roles in its $22B corporate real estate services segment—including as Chief Commercial Officer, Executive Managing Director and Special Outside Counsel. David recently has served in a dual role as Global Head of Commercial & General Counsel of VERB, a privately held, build-to-suit real estate development company based in London. David has advised and Rabin & Company continues to represent public companies as well as private equity sponsors, family offices, and portfolio companies. He has published multiple articles on leasing, finance, and land use including in the New York Law Journal and the Real Estate Finance Journal. David currently sits on the Board of Directors of On-Board Companies, a privately held 6,000 employee industrial engineering, staffing and services company in the US and Canada.

We operate leanly and leverage additional resources, including through strategic alliances with outside law firms, as required to support our clients' needs, whether for individual projects or programmatic engagements.
